Round Trip Fort Island Pampus

Step aboard on of our ships and get into the spirit of things
when we set course to the Fort Island of Pampus on the
IJsellmeer.
Discover this once *impregnable fortress*, which once
protected Amsterdam from attacks from the Zuiderzee and
served as an inspection point for the VOC merchant ships.

We welcome you onboard at 10.00 AM with a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of freshly baked pie to meet the crew and other passengers. Then we cast off, hoist the sails and let the wind take us to Pampus. At the beginning of the afternoon we will *lay up for Pampus*.

On the island you'll be met by a guide who will show you
around and tell about the history of the for that was once
part of the Stelling of Amsterdam. The guide will take you into the impressive tunnel system of the island. Afterwards we welcome you back onboard with a drink and a little snack and set sail back to the harbor.

Extra possibilities:
After the trip home we can offer you a evening program.
Perhaps a dinner onboard or a old fashiond dubble decker bus which will take you to special location for some suprise entertainment.
